You may be new to manifesting through positive affirmations, or you may be a pro who’s just looking for new affirmations that can create a more positive life, future, or beautiful self-image you deserve. Whatever brought you here, welcome!

Manifesting is a real way to positively impact your life, and although it may take some practice, we promise we’ll have you seeing the amazing abundance in your life as soon as you start. If you want to manifest a positive life for yourself, there are many steps you can take through manifesting and positive self-talk, all of which we’re going over in this eBook.

What Is Abundance?

We talk about abundance a lot, but what really is it? Well, abundance comes to us in many different forms, and it’s up to us to consider what form or type of abundance we want.

Are you looking to get into all the colleges or programs you apply to?

Do you want to find love?

Do you want to experience new travels and adventures?

Maybe you want to practice manifesting a positive self-image and a better relationship within yourself?


The type of abundance you want in your life is unique and specific to you, so start by considering what you want to focus on. These things can change over time, and you may want to add or refocus in a week, month, or year, but start with one aspect so that you can get specific.


What Holds Us Back: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Let’s start with discussing what a self-fulfilling prophecy is, and why it can make us feel like our lives aren’t going the way we want them to.


A self-fulfilling prophecy is the process we go through where an originally false belief or expectation then creates our reality, confirming it because we believed it to be true. Your belief in a false expectation (negative thought) will cause you to act in a way that confirms it. If you didn’t believe it to be true you would’ve acted differently and therefore got a different response.


Below are the three stages of a self-fulfilling prophecy, along with a simple example to help you better understand. Although we used basketball, you could apply this to any skill, talent, or attribute.

Stage 1: False Beliefs About Ourselves

Example: I believe I am a bad athlete. I know I’m bad at all sports and am particularly terrible at basketball.

Stage 2: Your Behaviors Towards The Belief

Ex: Since I believe I’m bad at basketball, I don’t try that hard in gym class or during after-school spots. I already know I’m bad, so why would I try? I tell everyone how bad I am so that they also know I’m not athletic.

Stage 3: Target or Beliefs Behavior Towards Ourselves

Ex: If I don’t try during gym, my teacher assumes I am not interested, or not good at sports. The other kids in my class have heard me say how bad I am so they also believe that I’m not athletic. They then don’t choose me to be on their team. Since I don’t get picked for teams I never play sports, and I sit on the sidelines unhappy and in a state of discontent.

This is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you hadn’t decided to believe you were bad at all sports, you would have gotten better, right? You could have improved and been excited to play (even if you aren’t Michael Jordan), and then my teammates would have wanted to be on their team and would’ve been given more opportunities to practice. I then would’ve seen that I am capable of improving and having fun while playing sports and being athletic.

When you stop yourself with negative false beliefs, and a self-fulfilling prophecy, you don’t give yourself the chance or opportunity to improve.

The way you think and speak about yourself has an effect on those around you. So, instead of believing that you are bad at sports, try rephrasing the belief.

Ex: “I know I will get better when I have more time practicing. I have fun and enjoy the experience of playing with my friends.”

You may not have noticed, but we just practiced positive affirmation.

Affirmations And How They Work

Affirmations are the practice of affirming or declaring a true statement. Practicing affirmations is the way you can manifest abundance to create a positive and happy life. When you use affirmations, you’re bringing your wishes and or dreams into your reality and inviting all the amazing things you want (abundance) into your life, world, and reality.

Your reality is what you make it, and through affirmations, we can create the world we wish to live in, both internally and externally.

Positive Manifestation

Below are some examples of positive manifestations that you can practice and apply to all things in your life. Although they may seem general, they help attract the things we all want in life.

I Am Present

I am in the moment, I am present, and everything in the world is just as it should be. I know exactly where I am meant to be, and it’s right here at this very moment.


I Am Strong

I can overcome any and all challenges in my life. I have a strong mind and a strong body. I’m exactly as strong as I need to be at this very moment.

I Am Worthy

I am worthy of love, respect, and fulfillment in my life. I am perfect just as I am. The way I am is exactly how I need to be in order to get everything amazing out of life. I know great things are coming my way, and I’m ready to receive them.


My Body Is Perfect

My body is perfect just as it is. I do not need to change anything about myself. I am strong in my body, and my body is beautiful. My body is a vessel for my being and it carries me through all the challenges in my lifetime. My body is exactly how it should be.

Did you struggle with that last affirmation?


Sometimes it can be difficult, particularly for women, to say that our bodies are perfect. But that’s because we’ve been taught not to believe it and certainly not to say it out loud. And what do we know happens when we believe our bodies are imperfect and need to change? Self-fulfilling prophecy. Those around you will start to talk and treat you as if there is something you need to change, which reaffirms that that is the “truth”, even though it is not.

If you had trouble with that last affirmation, that is exactly where you should start.


Affirmation works on belief, so although saying affirmations out loud is the start, it’s not the goal. The goal of affirmations is to believe what you are saying is true. And as soon as you start to feel the pullback to your false beliefs, that you need to be thinner or prettier or something-er, start the affirmation again.


As you continue to practice, you’ll notice that you won’t feel such a pull toward your negative beliefs, and believing that you’re perfect just the way you are will become easier to believe every moment of every day.


And it is true. You really are perfect just as you are.


Destiny Manifestation

If you see it, feel it, and believe it, then it is possible.


We all have dreams and we hope our destiny is. Maybe you want to be a famous singer, or maybe you want to meet the man of your dreams and have a family. Although many believe that our destinies are out of our control, they aren’t. You can manifest your destiny, through affirmations, and the simple steps that are listed below.


Get Specific On Your Dreams and Desires

We know what we want generally, but have you considered the specifics? If we don’t have a clear and specific thought of what we want out of life, how can we achieve it? When someone asks us what we want the most out of our life, be that career, love, or family, many of us have a vague response.


How To Get Clear On Your Desires:

Start by clearing your mind, and taking time in a quiet space to be alone with your thoughts. Then ask yourself: If I could do anything, be anyone, or live in any future, what would I choose? What would I pursue if nothing, not where I live, what I look like, or how much money I have, would hold me back? When in my life do I feel joyful? What activities, hobbies or behaviors am I doing that make me feel both alive and free?


The answer to your heart's deepest desires lies somewhere in the answers to these questions. The clearer you are on what you want, the easier it will be to manifest it.


Notice Your False Negative Beliefs

What negative self-talk do you start to hear in your mind that’s trying to trick you into believing it's true? These are limiting beliefs that are not true, and have no place in manifesting.


Don’t beat yourself up over them, instead replace them with language that negates negative talk. You can also laugh at them, as in “haha funny you’re trying to make me think I’m not X Y, or Z even though I know I am”.


Visualize Your Dreams Coming True

This is the fun part. This is where you let your mind come up with all the ways that your dreams can come true. See the details that make up your perfect life such as where you live, who you’re with, and what your career is. Maybe you're on stage singing at Madison Square Garden, maybe you're signing the contract to buy a new house with your dream partner, or maybe you’re hearing your name be called out at the Oscars. Visualizing is like daydreaming but better because you’re guiding your mind into the place where you vividly see all the details and aspects that make up your amazing future.

If you’re struggling to visualize the details, try a vision board. This helps as it gives your mind a tangible product that you’re making, creating the life you want. Then hang the vision board in your bedroom or bathroom and look at it every day when you wake up.


Feel The Feeling

This is similar to affirmations, you can’t just say it, you have to believe it. Feel what it feels like when your dreams come true. Let yourself experience all the joy that your dreams are bringing to you. Imagine the joy of your wedding day or the energy of walking to the stage to accept your award. Don’t hold back, even if it feels silly at first. The more you feel it, the more it will become a reality. Feel happy, feel joyful, feel beautiful, feel content.

Then Release It Into The Universe

Once you feel it, see it, and visualize your dreams coming true, you are ready to give it to the universe. Now, you obviously don’t have to walk around all day in a constant state of visualization. Just give it up to the universe and believe everything you want is coming to you.

Have Faith

Have faith that what you’ve visualized and manifested is coming right to you. If you believe it, it will happen. Believe that manifesting works, and it will. Believe your destiny is the future, and it will be.
